This wiki tracks changes in federal, state, and institutional policies dealing with research data affecting members of Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) and Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA).
ASERL and SURA institution members are encouraged to participate by nominating librarians and Research Office personnel to serve on a Data Coordinating Committee.
The committee may be broken into smaller work-groups to manage the Data Policy Watch Service. Another workgroup might create a test-bed project to review and advance data management planning for SURA-coordinated research initiatives such as an inter-institutional cooperative for data management.
